Weekend sessions that inspire and enthuse
Dr C's Electro Labs ran Saturday activities which were aimed at learners of Year 7 - 10. These coding sessions ran for 8 weeks, and last from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.
The course will give the learners a solid grounding into coding in Python, electronics and robotics. Learners worked collaboratively using Circuitpython to control their creations
"Sending our son to Dr C's coding club was one of the best decisions this year! He has basic coding knowledge but not a lot and after the first day his excitement was fired up. Coding, robotics, programming and playing with all sorts of parts and gadgets. He loved the first 2 days so much we extended it by 2 more. Already booked the next session! Highly recommended for kids with interests in electronics."

Weekend sessions focus on the building of electronics which are controlled using Python. It is possible for learners to bring their own laptop, or Raspberry Pi (4 or 400), but not essential as they will have access to a Raspberry Pi 400.
Each learner will receive a free Raspberry Pi Pico, solderless breadboard and USB cable. Additional equipment is available to purchase at the sessions for those who want to practise between the sessions.
